We've all had The Classic Muffin Drops by now. Our famous Banana Chocolate Chip mini muffins which remind you of your grandma's banana bread recipe with a majestic gluten-free twist. But have you ever fried these drops of heaven up?! Yeah... we're talking crisping your muffin drops in plant-based butter on the stove top.
It's giving crunch, warmth & gooey greatness. Let's dive into the recipe.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 bundle of Banana Chocolate Chip Drops
- Two tsp plant-based butter
- Nut butter of choice (we tested both peanut and almond - each amazing options!)
- Dairy-free chocolate chips or fruit to garnish
DIRECTIONS
- Take your muffin drops out of their bundle and unwrap the drops
- Use the bottom of a glass to flatten and lightly press muffin into a disk-like shape
- Heat pan or skillet on medium heat
- Once pan is hot, melt two teaspons of butter in pan
- Evenly distribute butter on pan and place your flattened muffin drops onto butter to lightly toast
- Toast each side for around 3 minutes until golden
- After each side has toasted, remove muffins from pan onto serving plate
- Begin stacking your toasted muffin disks whilst placing a dollop of nut butter on each layer. The nut butter will drip down the sides of your stack as you go, making a delish tower of goodness.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top to garnish or your favorite fruit and call it a day :)
- Easy, peasy. All ingredients will likely be on hand after you snag some drops as well.
- Enjoy!
